A Legacy That Lasts

Founded in 1896 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, Lodge is America’s oldest manufacturer of cast iron cookware. It all began with Joseph Lodge, a man with a vision to create products that last a lifetime. Over the decades, the company has remained family-owned and committed to its core values—quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Why Cast Iron?

Cast iron offers unbeatable heat retention and even heating—perfect for searing, baking, frying, or even cooking over an open flame. With proper seasoning, a Lodge skillet becomes naturally non-stick and improves with age.

Unlike modern non-stick pans that wear out or scratch, Lodge cast iron only gets better the more you use it.

Built to Last Generations

Every Lodge skillet is pre-seasoned and ready to use right out of the box. The brand’s commitment to sustainability and local manufacturing also means you're investing in cookware that’s eco-friendly and ethically made.

From campfires to kitchens, Lodge skillets are a favourite among home cooks and professional chefs alike.

How to Take Care of Cast Iron

Proper care keeps your Lodge skillet in top shape for years:

Scrub your pan

Scrub the pan with warm, soapy water. It’s okay to use soap since you’re preparing to re-season the cookware. Rinse and hand dry thoroughly.

Apply oil

Apply a very thin, even layer of cooking oil to the cookware (inside and out). If you use too much oil, your cookware may become sticky.

Bake for 1 hour

Place the cookware in the oven upside down. Place a large baking sheet or aluminium foil on the bottom rack. Bake at  450°F-500 °F (232.22 °C-260 °C) for one hour. Allow to cool.

With just a little effort, your cast iron skillet will serve you for generations.
